The Island's Original Surf School
Founded in Jersey and operating for over two decades, Jersey Surf School is one of the Channel Islands' longest-running and most trusted surf schools.
Based in the heart of St Ouen's Bay, we now operate across two locations – Le Braye and The Watersplash. In 2026, we expanded by taking over the former Splash Surf Centre, bringing both of Jersey's iconic surf school locations together under one banner.
From first-time surfers to intermediate, school groups to corporate events, we specialise in surfing, lifesaving and ocean education, helping thousands of people build confidence in and around the sea each year.
Open year-round, our mission remains the same: to provide safe, professional and memorable experiences whilst inspiring a lifelong connection with the ocean.

Jersey Surf School is run by former Channel Island junior head surf coach & RNLI Beach Lifeguard Supervisor, Jake Powell. Jake has competed in surfing since the age of 9, and has gone on to represent the island in competitions, and coach all around the world.
